Arrival in South Tyrol at the 4 star Hotel Sunnwies

  • New in 2026:
    Shuttle service from Merano and Bolzano railway stations to the hotel!
    The tourist office in Scena organises a shuttle service for Scena guests from Bolzano and Merano railway stations directly to the hotel.

  • Arrival via the Brenner:

    By car via the Brenner motorway (A22), exit Bolzano South. Continue on the expressway to Merano until the Merano South/Sinich exit. From there follow the signs for Schenna.

  • Arrival via the Reschen pass:
    Through the Vinschgau in the direction of Merano, do not exit in Algund but continue on the expressway to Merano South/Sinich. Exit here and follow the signs for Schenna.

  • Arrival via Timmelsjoch/Jaufenpass:
    Before Merano, turn left at St. Georg church, take the Cavourstraße to Obermais and Schenna.

  • Your seat to the south Meraner Land Express
    Take a break from driving – use our Meraner Land Express and the Munich – Schenna bus connection! Travel on Wednesdays or Sundays from Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dortmund or other cities in the comfortable ICE or EC to Munich. There, a direct connection to Schenna awaits you at the Central Bus Station (ZOB). (Departure at 2 p.m.) Modern coaches will take you directly to our hotel (arrival at approx. 6.30 p.m.)
    – without changing trains or long waiting times.

    Important information: From January 2025, the arrival and departure day of the Meraner Land Express will be moved from Saturday to Sunday.
    The bus from Munich to Schenna and back will then always run
    on Wednesdays and Sundays. (2025 and 2026)

    The regional airline this summer is offering direct flights from Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg to Bolzano. Three times weekly until 31.03.2023 and four times weekly from April 2023.
