In December and Jannuary the Schenna Tourism Association offers a free connection shuttle for all guests with accommodation in Schenna from the train stations Bolzano and Merano, the Flixbus stop Therme Merano and the airport Bolzano directly to the accommodation.

The LUMAGICA Park of Lights is more than just a light installation - it is a tribute to the beauty of nature and the diversity of life. Each handcrafted light installation has been carefully designed to reflect the unique themes and atmospheres of the botanical garden and enchant visitors of all ages.

Skiing, snowboarding & winter sports
The valley station of the famous ski resort of Meran 2000 is only 10 minutes away from Hotel Sunnwies and in another 7 minutes the modern gondola lift takes you to the middle of the breathtaking ski area.
The sunny and snow-covered ski resort offers 40 km of varied pistes from 1600 m to 2185 m above sea level. A snow park, cross country ski trails, toboggan runs and beautifully prepared winter hiking trails round off the range of activities.
